At the age of 4 years when his mother died during birth of third child who also died, four years later his father died in a clash between liberals and conservatives. He lives with his sister and grandmother to 12 years. Then he travels to Bogota to study in a convent where she learned to embroider, sew, knit and sing, these activities develop their creativity and sparked her interest in the arts. At 15 years he went to work in a textile company where permaneci8 confeccin years, back then knew her future husband, a merchant with whom he had 5 children. The family later moved to Cartagena de Indias and alldonde Floresminda taking classes in painting and drawing. On May 26, 1982 suffered a serious accident that would affect both legs and unable to walk for a year, it was at this time he began performing his work in inspirndose dreams and memories of his life. In most of his work has used the embroidery and acrylic on wood. Their motives are often related to rural life, family, traditions and religion, always represented with great imagination and liveliness. He currently lives in Cartagena de Indias, where she continues to develop its work.
